Abstract Process for the production of a known antibiotic substance, cephemimycin, by cultivation of a newly discovered microorganism Streptomyces jumonjinensis strain No. 3008 according to any method employed for Streptomyces. The antibiotic substance is effective against gram-negative bacteria.
