Abstract

Abstract The present invention is directed to a process for making pure human plasminogen suitable for the preparation of the plasminogen-streptokinase complex. The method of the present invention allows the removal of impurities from plasminogen prior to complexing the latter with streptokinase, resulting in a plasminogen-streptokinase complex with much higher plasminogen activating activity.
