Abstract Mouldable compositions which give rise, on moulding, to articles having good resistance to shock and to wear at high temperatures are provided comprising, by weight, A. ABOUT 10 TO 70% OF A PREPOLYMER BINDER OBTAINED FROM A BISIMIDE OF AN UNSATURATED DICARBOXYLIC ACID OF THE GENERAL FORMULA: IN WHICH D represents a divalent organic radical containing a carbon-carbon double bond and A represents a divalent organic radical possessing two to 30 carbon atoms, and from a polyamine of the formula:
