Abstract
Abstract Emesis in mammals is prevented by administration of 3-alkoxythianaphthene-2-carboxamides in a daily dosage ranging from 50 to 500 Mu g/kg as determined by a physician or veterinarian. When administered to dogs in a daily dosage of 250 Mu g/kg, 100 percent protection is obtained against vomiting normally induced by subcutaneous administration of apomorphine.
