Abstract
Abstract Compounds of the formula: WHEREIN R is a branched chain alkyl group containing three to about twelve carbon atoms are provided. These compounds are useful as antioxidants in organic substrates, such as polyolefins, rubber, etc. They can be prepared by reacting three moles of 4-alkyl-3-hydroxy-2,6-dimethylbenzyl chloride with one mole of cyanuric acid.
