Abstract
Abstract A process for the production of carbonaceous graft polymers having a high rate of grafting, characterized in that the polymerization is carried out by bringing a carbonaceous material and a vinylic compound dispersed in an aqueous medium into contact with sulfur dioxide. According to this process, the polymerization reaction can be carried out at a high rate of polymerization without necessity of heating and any expensive organic solvent.
