Abstract
Abstract A method of rapidly polymerizing a thin coating of thermosetting monomer onto the surface of particulate matter such that the particles will not stick together and may thereafter be handled as a freely flowing material comprising wetting the material''s surface with a solution containing a liquid polymerizable monomer and a free radical generating catalyst and then exposing the wet surface to an atmosphere containing sulfur dioxide to effect rapid polymerization.
