Abstract

Abstract Aqueous dispersions of particulated polyamide acid reaction product of aromatic diamines and chloroformylphthalic anhydrides, which have been at least partially base neutralized have been found to be valuable for continuous electrocoating. The aqueous dispersions are substantially free of titratable chloride and exhibit extended shelf stability at ambient temperatures.
