Abstract
Abstract Method and apparatus for purifying an air or gas flow of combustible vaporous or gaseous impurities by passing the air or gas through an adsorption filter and charging the filter to a predetermined level. After the filter is so charged, the air or gas flow is interrupted and the filter is desorbed by passing a heated inert gas generated by stoichiometric burning of hydrocarbons through the filter.
