Abstract
Abstract Water-soluble cationic thermosetting polymer consisting essentially of (a) N-carbamoylalkyl alkyleneamino linkages and (b) said linkages carrying glyoxal substituents possess good wetstrengthening properties. Wet strength paper containing these polymers loses about half of its wet strength in 24 hours during normal wet weathering.
