Abstract
Abstract A photopolymerizable composition comprised of a major amount of beta-hydroxy ester and a minor amount of a polymerizable ester derived from itaconic acid. Optionally the compositions contain a polyacrylate and a photosensitizer. The photopolymerizable compositions are useful in the preparation of vehicles for printing inks which when printed on a substrate dry rapidly under irradiation with ultraviolet light. Superior adhesion of the compositions to metal surfaces is obtained by heating the irradiated composition.
