Abstract

Abstract Process for curing polyacrylates, especially in the form of thin layers or coatings, of the formula WHEREIN R1 and R2 denote a hydrogen atom or the methyl group and n denotes the number 2 or 3 and A denotes an organic radical which contains at least one grouping WHEREIN Z represents a divalent radical required to complete a five-membered or six-membered ring, by means of ionising rays, for example electron beams, X-rays or gamma-rays. The resulting coatings show improved weathering resistance, extensibility and gloss retention.
