Abstract
Abstract There are prepared monohydrocarbyltin mercaptocarboxylates of the formula AND TRIHYDROCARBYLTIN MERCAPTOCARBOXYLATES OF THE FORMULA WHERE R, R1, R2 and R3 are alkyl, aralkyl or aryl, R'' is H, Na, K or N IS 1 TO infinity AND M IS 1 TO 3. The compounds are useful as catalysts in polymerization, e.g. in forming polyesters, and as biocides, e.g. as fungicides and bactericides.
