Abstract A PROCESS FOR PREPARING HIGHLY POLYMERIZED DESOXYRIBONUCLEIC ACIDS FROM FISH MILT AND THE LIKE FROM WHICH LIPIDES HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND WHICH HAS BEEN TREATED WITH AN ALKALI SALT INCLUDING THE STEPS OF TREATING WITH A SOLUTION OF PHENOL IN SUCH QUANTITY AS TO SATURATE THE MASS CONTAINING THE NUCLEO-PROTEIN MATERIAL TO LIBERATE DNA THEREFROM.
