Abstract

Abstract A drapery or curtain is hung from an adjustable frame so that it hangs freely in a similar manner to its intended use. One or more dye squirting orifices or nozzles traverse the width of the drapery at predetermined heights to mark cut-off or fold lines on the drapery and/or lining. The dye may be invisible as applied on the drapery and may become visible only when exposed to light of a predetermined wavelength for subsequent cutting, folding or sewing of the drapery. The orifice may be a hypodermic neddle which provides a very thin continuous unbroken liquid stream or jet that marks the line on the drapery.
