Abstract
Abstract 1,5-Diaryl-3-styryl pyrazolines, which are obtained by condensation of a distyryl ketone and an aliphatic 4-hydrazinophenyl sulfone, are useful as optical brighteners, especially in admixture with known 1,3-diaryl pyrazoline brighteners.
