Abstract
Abstract Alkylene polyamines, such as ethylene diamine (EDA), are employed to control acid corrosion in distillation columns, such as occurs in petroleum distillation columns; preferably where the polyamine is employed in conjunction with a corrosion inhibitor, for example, a non-neutralizing corrosion inhibitor such as a film-forming corrosion inhibitor.
