Abstract A protective headgear characterized by microporous semi-flexible polyurethane outer shell and a soft, flexible cellular liner, the outer shell having a density of about 30 to 42 pounds per cubic foot and a deflection test (Z-90 impact) of one inch at about one to 5 pound load and a temperature of 75*F.
