Abstract METHOD FOR PRODUCING POLYVINYL CHLORIDE HAING A HIGH BULK DENSITY OF MORE THAN 0.6 G./CC., SUPERIOR FREE FLOW PROPERTY AND SUPERIOR PROCESSABILITY BY SUSPENSION POLYMERIZATION OF VINYL CHLORIDE MONOMER IN AN AQUEOUS MEDIUM IN THE PRESENCE OF A SPECIFIC WATER-SOLUBLE CELLULOSE DERIVATIVE AND A SPECIFIC ALKALI METAL SALT OF AN INORGANIC OR ORGANIC ACID BY USING AN AGITATOR HAING AN AGITATING BLADE IN WHICH THE RATIO (D/D) OF SPAN (D) OF THE AGITATING BLADE TO THE INSIDE DIAMETER (D) OF THE POLYMERIZATION VESSEL IS 0.3 TO 0.8 AND FURTHER THE TIP SPEED OF THE AGITATING BLADE IS NOT MORE THAN 7 M./SEC.
