Abstract A COLORED THERMOPLASTIC RESIN IS APPLIED IN FILM FORM OR AS POWDER ONTO THE SURFACE OF AN UNCURED FORMULATED LOW PROFILE POLYESTER SHEET AND IS THEN BONDED THERETO WITH HEAT, FORMING A LAMINATE OF THE CURED POLYESTER WITH CONTINUOUS, ADHERENT OVERLAYERS OF THE COLORED THERMOPLASTIC RESIN. A METHOD FOR COLORING POLYESTER SURFACES AFTER MOLDING WITH PIGMENTED THERMOPLASTIC RESIN POWDER IS ALSO DESCRIBED.
