Abstract SIMULTANEOUSLY BENDING A PAIR OF GLASS SHEETS HAVING A SHARPLY BENT PORTION EXTENDING ACROSS A PORTION OF THE SHEET, USING A COMBINATION OF GENERAL OVERALL HEATING WITH ADDITIONAL RESISTANCE HEATING IN SAID SHARPLY BENT PORTION IN SUCH A MANNER THAT BREAKAGE IS AVOIDED AND THE PAIR OF GLASS SHEETS BENT SIMULTANEOUSLY DO NOT FUSE TOGETHER AND CAN BE SEPARATED AFTER THEY ARE SHAPED, THEN ASSEMBLED WITH A LAYER OF PLASTIC INTERLAYER MATERIAL THEREBETWEEN AND LAMINATED.
