Abstract
Abstract A process for manufacturing self-limiting heating elements by casting a semi-conducting composition from solution or fusing a powder. Preferred embodiments of the composition contain conductive carbon black and polyethylene, the black loading being lower than that used in prior art compositions. New constructions, including a multi-wire arrangement, are described.
