Abstract
Abstract A red-sensitive silver halide photographic emulsion for photographic light-sensitive material containing dye developing agent suitable for diffusion transfer process which comprises a combination of at least one sensitizing dye represented by the following general formula (I) and at least one sensitizing dye represented by the following general formula (II): wherein Z and Z1, which may be the same or different, represent a nonmetallic atomic group necessary for completing a series of benzothiazole nucleus or a series of benzoselenazole nucleus; R and R1 represent each an alkyl group or a substituted alkyl group; at least one of said R and R1 being a hydroxyalkyl group, a carboxyl group-containing alkyl group, or a sulfo groupcontaining alkyl group; X represents an anion; and n is 1 or 2; and n being 1 when said dye forms an intramolecular salt and WHEREIN Z2 and Z3, which may be the same or different, represent each a non-metallic atomic group necessary for completing a series of benzothiazole nucleus or a series of benzoselenazole nucleus; R2 and R3 have the same significance as R and R1 of the general formula (I); at least one of said R2 and R3 being a hydroxyalkyl group, a carboxyl group-containing alkyl group, or a sulfo group-containing alkyl group; X represents an anion; and m has the same significance as n of the general formula (I).
