Abstract A HIGH PURITY PALLADIUM ACETYL ACETONATE IS OBTAINED AT LOW REACTION TIMES BY PRECIPITATING A PALLADIUM COMPOUND FROM AN AQUEOUS ALKALI PALLADIUM CHLORIDE SOLUTION WITH AN ALKALI METL HYDROXUDE, CONVERTING THE PRECIPITATE TO THE PALLADIUM ACETYL ACETONATE WITH ACETYL ACETONE, AND WASHING AND DRYING THE ACETONATE.
