Abstract
Abstract A heat-treated ferromagnetic alloy for magnetic recordingreproducing heads, essentially consisting of 60.2 to 85.0 Wt. percent of nickel, 6.0 to 30.0 Wt. percent of iron, and 3.1 to 23.0 Wt. percent of tantalum, and having a Vickers hardness of above 150, a degree of order of 0.1 to 0.6, an electric resistivity of 23 to 94 Mu Omega -cm, initial permeability above 3,000 and maximum permeability above 10,000.
