Abstract

Abstract The invention relates to a method of and means for transferring recorded signals and latent electrostatic images before development. The insulating medium which is placed over the photoconductor surface is so constructed that the dielectric constant or permittivity on one side is lower than the dielectric constant on the other side. This can be achieved by forming the insulating medium of a laminate of two differing materials of differing dielectric constants.
