Abstract
Abstract An acid salt of tin is admixed with an acid salt of aluminum in aqueous solution. The pH is adjusted to form a coprecipitate which is washed substantially free of acid anions. The washed precipitate is formed into shaped particles, dried and calcined, and impregnated with a platinum group metal.
