A cured rubbery polyurethane seal as in claim 1 wherein said filler is carbon black and wherein said polyurethane polymer (C)(1) is prepared by reacting a polyalkylene ether diol having a molecular weight from 1,500 to 3,000 with an excess of diphenyl methane-4,4''-diisocyanate to form a product containing from about 3 to 4 percent by weight of free isocyanate groups, reacting this product with a polyalkylene ether triol having a molecular weight from 3,500 to 5,500 to give a product containing from about 1 to 2 percent by weight of free isocyanate groups, and then reacting this product with an excess of a dialkyl malonate.
