Abstract
Abstract An improved aluminum electrolytic capacitor is provided having an electrically insulating coating securely bonded to the casing. The coating comprises an epoxy resin preferably applied as a powder and cured to the empty casing at an elevated temperature to secure a proper bond without damage to the electrical components subsequently assembled therein.
