Abstract

Abstract About equimolar ethylene/chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer compositions are stabilized against thermal degradation so as to render them melt-processable by incorporating therein a fourcomponent stabilizing system comprising (a) a phosphite of an organic polyhydric phenol; (b) a salt of a carboxylic acid and a metal of Group II of the Periodic Table; (c) a thio dipropionic acid ester or alkali metal salt; and (d) an alkaline earth metal oxide.
