Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 3
Claim 1
Independent Claim 120 words
A process for making a fixed memory plane of braided wire type having a plurality of apertured magnetic cores, each occupying a predetermined core position in said plane, and a plurality of individual conductive drive lines, said drive lines selectively passing through the core apertures, comprising the steps of continuously winding an endless wire along an irregular path which selectively passes through said core positions of the plane severing the wound wire at locations spaced along the length of said wound wire to form a plurality of asymmetric drive lines each having two ends, joining each end of the two ends of each of the drive lines to a respective terminal, and providing cores at each of said core positions.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 120 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 22 words
A process as set forth in claim 1 wherein the wire is tested for electrical continuity also while winding the drive lines.
