Abstract ANTIHYPERTENSIVE COMPOUNDS COMPRISE 3-HYDRAZINOPYRIDAZINE DERIVATIVES SUBSTITUTED IN THE 6-POSITION WITH AN N-(2-HYDROXYPROPYL) AMINO GROUP. A NEW METHOD FOR THE PREPARATION OF THESE COMPOUNDS INVOLVES THE INTERMEDIATE ISOLATION OF THEIR HYDRAZONES AND SUBSEQUENT DECOMPOSITION OF THE HYDRAZONES WITH AN ACID TO FORM THE DESIRED HYDRAZINO DERIVATIVES.
