Abstract
Abstract A process useful for forming a polymer image which comprises reacting a photographic silver halide emulsion bearing a latent image with at least one compound selected from the group consisting of 2-pyrazoline-5-one, a derivative thereof, 3pyrazoline-5-one and a derivative thereof in the presence of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an addition polymerizable vinylidene monomer and vinyl monomer, whereby the polymerization of said monomer is selectively induced at the latent image bearing portion of the emulsion.
