Abstract

Abstract A method of forming a polymer impregnated concrete tool, such as a punch, includes the steps of pouring the concrete in a negative casting. Steps are taken while the concrete is still soft to assure that the tool attachments are properly aligned. The concrete is then cured and monomer is added under pressure. The impregnated tool is then put in a polymer monomer solution and polymerized.
