Abstract
Abstract An automatic rhythm playing apparatus has a memory which stores note arrangements of a plurality of rhythms. Pulses corresponding to the note arrangements of specific percussion instrument sounds for a selected rhythm are read out of the memory by cyclically changing address signals and a constant address signal proper to the selected rhythm. Required percussion instrument sound signals are produced from the pulses, and a rhythm sound signal composed of the percussion instrument sound signals is obtained therefrom. The automatic rhythm playing apparatus may have lamp lighting means for indicating rhythm tempo.
