Abstract A NOVEL PROCESS FOR HALOGENATING ORGANIC COMPOUNDS UNDER MILD CONDITIONS USING A HALOGENATING SYSTEM COMPRISING HALOGEN IN A SOLUTION OF PHOSPHORUS PENTOXIDE IN TRIMETHYL PHOSPHATE.
