Abstract
Abstract A dewatering foil for positioning beneath a traveling Fourdrinier wire of a paper making machine having a supporting beam pivotally mounted at its ends with the beam constructed relative to the foil so that in all positions of support it has a vertical downward component of deflection due to the force of the friction of the wire against the foil.
