Abstract
Abstract The apparent whiteness of fabrics is enhanced by a method of treating the fabrics with an effective amount of an alkali and heat stable water-soluble disazo dyestuff using a sulfonated disazo dyestuff of the diphenyl, dinaphthyl type. A fabric softening and laundry detergent composition are disclosed therefor.
