AN ALKALI OR ALKALINE EARTH METAL COMPOUND AND AT LEAST ONE OTHER METAL COMPOUND, BOTH DISSOLVED IN AN ORGANIC SOLVENT, ARE REACTED IN THE SOLVENT, THE SOLVENT IS EVAPORATED TO FORM A PRECIPITATE, AND THE PRECIPITATE IS HEATED TO FORM THE MULTI-COMPONENT SUBSTANCE.
