Abstract

Abstract Block copolymers of polycaprolactam and polylactone are produced by reacting, in the presence of an anionic catalyst, caprolactam with a polylactonediol which has been end-grouped, and optionally chain-extended, with a diisocyanate. The products are useful in elastic articles such as pneumatic tires, threads, etc., and as components of melt adhesives.
