Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 7
Claim 1
Independent Claim 75 words
An ammunition tracer system comprising a weapon for firing a projectile, a sighting station associated with said weapon and operative therewith for viewing a target area for the weapon, a source of coherent light operatively connected with said weapon for projecting a beam of coherent light at the target, and an ammunition projectile for said weapon, said projectile having a light reflective trailing edge for reflecting, in the target area, said beam of coherent light.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 75 words
An ammunition tracer system comprising a weapon for firing a projectile, a sighting station associated with said weapon and operative therewith for viewing a target area for the weapon, a source of coherent light operatively connected with said weapon for projecting a beam of coherent light at the target, and an ammunition projectile for said weapon, said projectile having a light reflective trailing edge for reflecting, in the target area, said beam of coherent light.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 18 words
A tracer system as set forth in claim 1 wherein said source of coherent light is a laser.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 30 words
A tracer system as set forth in claim 1 wherein said sighting station further comprises low light level viewing equipment for amplifying the reflected light to render the same visible.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 18 words
A tracer system as set forth in claim 3 wherein said source of coherent light is a laser.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 26 words
A tracer system as set forth in claim 1 wherein said light reflecting trailing edge comprises a concave corner reflector formed in said projectile trailing edge.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 27 words
A tracer system as set forth in claim 1 wherein said light reflecting trailing edge comprises a plurality of glass beads bonded to said projectile trailing edge.
