Abstract
Abstract This disclosure relates to a device for passing webs through rolls to remove or squeeze liquid from the webs. The rolls are made with a covering of a thin layer of a synthetic material. For example, a roll having a 1 to 5 mm layer of polyurethane is useful for squeezing and dewatering textile webs.
