Abstract IN THE PRODUCTION OF ARYLENE SULFIED POLYMERS, THE TEMPERATURE OF THE REACTION ZONE IS INCREASED FROM A FIRST TEMPERATURE TO A SECOND TEMPERATURE AT A RATE SUCH THAT THE REACTION RATE IS UNIFORM WITH RESPECT TO TIME. THEREAFTER, THE ZONE IS MAINTAINED AT THE SECOND TEMPERATUER.
