Abstract

Abstract Improved, negative-working, copying materials are prepared by coating a paper or film substrate with an amine-free formulation comprising a cyclic acetal of furfural, a photosensitive lower haloalkane, a binder resin and silica. Images are formed on the copying materials by exposure to ultraviolet light and fixed by heating.
