Abstract

Abstract An oleophobic composition suitable as the ink-receptive areas for printing plates comprising as a dried coating at least 50 percent by weight of light-sensitive diazo resin and no more than 50 percent by weight of a polyamide resin. The printing plate so provided is developed by an aqueous solution of a wetting agent which removes unexposed portions of the diazo-polyamide resin coating without any substantial effect on the exposed portions.
