Abstract A SUBSTRATE IS COATED WITH A LACQUER IN WHICH A NORMALLY SOLID RADIATION CURABLE RESIN SYSTEM IS DISSOVED IN AN ORGANIC SOLVENT. AFTER THE SOLVENT HAS EVAPORATED, THE DEPOSITED FILM IS PHYSICALLY WORKED AND THEN IRRADIATED TO INCREASE THE SOLVENT RESISTANCE AND PHYSICAL TOUGHNESS OF THE FILM.
