Abstract
Abstract A hydrocarbon well producing principally hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide and free sulfur is produced by pumping a solvent into the well to dissolve the free sulfur contained therein. The solvent is heated and introduced at a point within the production string at which the sulfur would normally begin to precipitate from the produced gas stream.
