PARTICULARLY USEFUL BRIGHTENERS ARE STILBENE BRIGHTENERS. THE SUPPORT CAN BE COMPRISED OF PAPER OR PAPER HAVING THE BARYTA LAYER OVERCOATED WITH POLYOLEFIN COATING SUCH AS POLYETHYLENE. THESE ELEMENTS CAN BE USED AS SUPPORTS FOR RECEIVING LAYERS FOR USE IN THE CHEMICAL TRANSFER SYSTEM AND ALSO AS A SUPPORT FOR SILVER HALIDE EMULSION OR SIMILAR LIGHT SENSITIVE COATINGS.
