Abstract

Abstract In a wet processing apparatus for photographic material wherein the material is guided at least partially through and out of a body of processing liquid by a guide plate having a grooved surface and extending upwardly from below the liquid level to an egress end above the liquid level, a plurality of openings are formed in the plate intermediate the liquid level and egress end, with each opening communicating with at least one groove, to permit the overflow of the liquid therethrough. Preferably, an anti-siphon passageway connects each such opening with the atmosphere.
