Abstract

Abstract The present invention relates to an induction transducer of the excitation current of a synchronous generator. An induction current transducer according to the invention is characterized in that its rotor uses a coupling interconnecting the shafts of a synchronous generator and an exciter and carrying the field winding of the transducer, which uses the conductors from the exciter to the synchronous generator, enclosed by a stator. The current transducer is intended for use mainly on high-power turbo-alternators with brushless excitation.
